Ms. Yoon has handled in prosecution, trial, litigation, and infringement disputes regarding trademarks, design, domain and copyright.
Her clients are in a variety of industry, including retail, cosmetic, fashion, information security and e-commerce.
She has worked large e-commerce companies and experienced various controversial issues, such as Key words Search Advertisement (AdWords) infringement and domain disputes of ADNDRC(Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution ) and WIPO.
She has also consulted in strategy of strength of trademark right and prevention of infringement for start-up business.
She is currently an expert advisor for e-commerce company and worked with Kakao, a Korean portal and search engine provider, BC Card and Interpark from 2007 – 2011.
She has communicated with oversea clients in English and Chinese
She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kangnam University in 1998 and completed the language program of Peking University in 1994. Prior to starting her career as a patent attorney, she gave a lecture on trademark law in patent examination academy.
Before joining KLP, she worked for HANA patent and trademark office for 7 years after passed the Korean patent bar in 2002.
During her free time, she enjoys playing the piano which she stopped for a while after 2015. Her favorite composer is Chopin, poet of the piano. Her next goal after Etude OP. 10 No. 4 is to play Polonaise No. 6(Hero).
